Scout Capital

Scout Capital is a sports-focused social media application designed for athletes, coaches, and managers to connect, collaborate, and share knowledge. The application will be available on both iOS and Android platforms and will be built using Flutter for the front-end and Firebase for the back-end. Features:

• User management for different sports personas: The application enables users to create profiles based on their role in the sports community, such as athlete, coach, manager, etc.
• Chat system: The chat feature allows users to communicate with each other privately or in group chats.
• News feed similar to Facebook: The news feed displays content relevant to each user’s interests and preferences, including posts, articles, and other sports-related content.
• Comprehensive profile detail: Users be able to create detailed profiles that showcase their skills, experience, and achievements.
• Follow/unfollow users: Users have the option to follow and unfollow other users to keep track of their content and activity.

Project Phases:

1. Planning and analysis: The planning and analysis phase involved a thorough analysis of the requirements, competitor analysis, and market research. This phase took 7 days.
2. Designing: The client provided the design, and this phase was focused on creating wireframes and prototyping.
3. Development: The development phase spanned 7 weeks, during which the application was coded using the technologies mentioned above.
4. Testing: The testing phase took 13 days and involved testing the application for bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities.
5. Deployment: The final phase took one week and involved deploying the application on the client’s chosen platform.
